  Best walleye fishing spot in the whole damn world! If you haven't been to lake of the woods and are an avid fisherman, I would say put it on your bucket list and make it a priority to see it in your life time. Many resorts too, making staying here for your trip easy as pie!

  My husband, a buddy & their 2 - 18 year old sons rented a cabin & ice house for 3 nights. By day 2, three of the 4 people were sick , throwing up & very fatigued. My concern was Carbon Monoxide poisoning. My husband thought maybe something they ate, but I finally convinced him to talk to someone in charge. A lady he spoke to told him it could not be carbon monoxide poisoning & carbon monoxide poisoning is MIND OVER MATTER! I could not believe this!!! We do not know at this point what caused the sudden illness, but wouldn't you take every precaution to make sure your guest were safe???

  The rude lady that everyone else mentions in the reviews is just as bad as they say. She also told us no maps but the road just goes straight. The cabin was spacious but rustic. Everything seemed fine until it started getting windy and blowing snow around outside. The door to the outside wasn’t sealed and we woke up with a pile of snow inside the door. The draft all night was horrible and we couldn’t get the place to stay warm. They did have a decent kitchen setup with all needed things. Probably not going back.
